YOUR VALORANT STORIES
To mark the 5th anniversary of VALORANT, Riot Games created “Your VALORANT Stories,” a worldwide celebration of its community. Lightfarm had the honor of producing six distinct films — Vietnam, China, France, Thailand, USA, and South Korea — each in a different animation style chosen to match the story’s emotion and cultural context.
From comic book motion in Vietnam to expressive 2D in Thailand, digital matte paintings in China, anime-inspired action in Korea, and 2D/3D blends in the USA, each production was carefully crafted by over 120 artists. It’s a testament to how VALORANT has shaped stories, friendships, and dreams across the globe.
For South Korea’s chapter in the ‘Your VALORANT Stories’ series, Lightfarm produced Breaking Through, capturing Gen.G’s pro player, t3xture, pushing to reach his full potential. Inspired by anime aesthetics, we used bold 2D effects, dynamic camera angles, and exaggerated motion to amplify his intensity.
The visuals are charged with energy, mirroring the high-speed, high-pressure world of competitive VALORANT in South Korea. This was part of unique films for VALORANT’s 5th anniversary, each designed to reflect the emotion, culture, and personal journey of real players around the globe.
